Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4x-3y=-4 .............1
10x+y=7 .............2
Eliminate y
multiply (1)by 1
Multiply (2) by 3
4x-3y= -4
30x+3y= 21
Add the two equations
34x= 17
/34
x=0.50
plug value of x in (1)
4x-3y=-4
2-3y=-4
-3y=-4-2
-3y=-6
y=2
