Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
solve for b:
4b/8b=8-b
----
Reduce the fraction on the left side of the equation:
1/2 = 8-b
Add b to both sides:
b + (1/2) = 8
Subtract (1/2) from both sides to get:
b = 7 1/2
