(2, 3) and (8, 1)
Can you explain how I am to achieve this?
Also...
Can you tell me if I did this correctly?
Solve for x:
2(x + 1) > 12
My answer:
Simplify left side and right side to get:
2x + 1= 12-3
2 + 1 + x = 12
x = 9
Thank you,Thank you Thank you

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Midpoint (average of x values, average of y values)
=((2+8)/2,(3+1)/2)= (5,2)
Solving for "x":
2(x+1)> 12
Divide both sides by "2" to get:
x+1> 6
Subtract "1" from both sides to get:
x>5

Stan H.
