Question 32371: This problem has to do with permutations:Let n = 9
sigma = (2 3 7 5 6) and mu = (1 8 9 4)
1. Compute sigma of mu and mu of sigma
2. Compute sigma-squared and sigma-cubed.

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1.sigma of mu means "the standard deviation of 1,8,9,4" = 3.2
mu of sigma means " the mean of 2,3,7,5.6" = 4.6
2. sigma-squared and sigma-cubed
This is a confusing question as we can't tell which
standard deviation is meant.
