Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
let width be x
twice the width = 2x
Length = 2x+2
..
2(2x+2)+2x=46
4x+4+2x=46
6x+4=46
6x=42
x=7 meters the width
length = 2x+2 = 2*7+2=16 meters
