Just looking at this I'll see what I can figure out
If both factors are negative the inequality fails
(-)(-) > 0
The only way they can both be negative is if x < -1
If both factors are positive, the inequality fails
(+)(+) >0
The only way they can both be positive is if x > 6
When x = -1 or x = 6 then I get 0 < 0
So, for success, I need
-1 < x < 6
