SOLUTION: Let f(x)=9-x^2, g(x)=3-x. Find (f+g) (x).
Here are my four choices:
(1) -x^2-x+12
(2) 3+x
(3) -x^2+x+6
(4) x^3=3x^2-9x+27
Thanks!

Answer by sdmmadam@yahoo.com(530) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
f(x)=9-x^2----(1) g(x)=3-x.----(2)
To find (f+g)(x).
(f+g)(x) = f(x)+g(x)
=(9-x^2)+(3-x)
= -x^2-x+(9+3)
= -x^2-x+12
Answer: (f+g)(x)= -x^2-x+12
Your first choice!
