Question 27581: I have a Radius of 2mm, but i dont have the coordinate for that circle.
I also have a point of intersection of the tangencey of the circle,I know X, and Y coordinate for this location,
I would like to find out how can i find the distance from the center of the cirle to the point of tangency.
Or find the location of the center of cirle,
the Coordinate for the point of tangency are
X=12 (
y=201.8

THE RADIUS AT THE POINT OF TANGENCY ,THAT IS THE LINE JOINING THE CENTRE TO THE POINT OF TANGENCY IS PERPENDICULAR TO THE TANGENT.HENCE DISTANCE OF CENTRE FROM CENTRE OF A CIRCLE TO THE TANGENT IS THE DISTANCE OF CENTRE OF CIRCLE FROM THE POINT OF TANGENCY IS EQUAL TO THE RADIUS.HENCE THE DISTANCE IS 2 ,THE RADIUS.YOU DONT NEED THE COORDINATES OF CENTRE OR POINT OF TANGENCY OR ANY OTHER DATA TO CALCULATE THIS.YOU ONLY NEED TO KNOW THE RADIUS.
