Answer by checkley77(12844)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2L+2W=46
L=2W+2
2(2W+2)+2W=46
4W+4+2W=46
6W=46-4
6W=42
W=42/6
W=7 ANS.
L=2*7+2=14+2=16 ANS. FOR THE LENGTH.
PROOF:
2*16+2*7=46
32+14=36
36=36
