Find the equation of the plane that passes through the point (1,1,1) and is normal to the vector N=(1,2,3).

Find the equation of the plane that passes through the point (1,1,1) and is normal to the vector N=(1,2,3).

The equation of a plane passing through (xo,yo,zo) with normal vector
N = (a,b,c) is {by the dot product [(x,y,z) - (xo,yo,zo)] . N = 0 }
a(x-xo) + b(y-yo)+ c(z-zo) = 0.
That is the whole story.
