Question 160480: f(x)=x^3. g(x)=(sq. root of)x. h(x)=x-4. and j(x)=2x. If k(x)=(sq. root of x^3-4), Express k(x) as a composite of three of the four functions listed. Please explain how you arrived at your solution! I'm begging for help!!!
Answer by scott8148(6628) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
start with f(x) __ that's your x^3
h(x) subtracts 4 __ so h(f(x))=x^3-4
last is g(x) __ it takes sqrt __ g(h(f(x)))=sqrt(x^3-4)
k(x)=g(h(f(x)))
