Answer by checkley77(12844) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a/b(2x-12)=c/d
a/(2bx-12b)=c/d
c(2bx-12b)=ad
2bx-12b=ad/c
2bx=ad/c+12b
x=(ad/c+12b)/2b
x=(ad+12bc)/c*1/2b
x=ad+12bc/2bc
