Question 142129: Find the area of a rectangle if three of its corners are (-0.1,-3.4), (-7.9,-3.4), and (-0.1,6.8).

The 4th corner is (-7.9,6.8)
subtract the x's from each other and the y's from each other to find the lengths of the sides.
-7.9-(-0.1)=-7.9+0.1=7.8 The length is always positive.
6.8-(-3.4)=6.8+3.4=10.2
10.2*7.8=79.56
