okay first of all you need to write out your problem..
since it says..5 times more than...you know that you will be multiplying
so write 5w=288
cause you know that five times what ever the width is should give you 288
now all you have to do is divide both sides by five
that will leave you with 57.6
now if you were to check your work say..
57.6 times five and it should leave you with 288
