4x^2 + 2x - 20
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
solve the equation:
4x^2 + 2x - 20 = 0
---------------------
Divide thru by 2 to get:
2x^2+x-10 = 0
2x^2+5x-4x-10 = 0
x(2x+5)-2(2x+5) = 0
(2x+5)(x-2) = 0
x = -5/2 or x=2
