THE QUESTION: GRAPH EACH LINEAR EQUATION USING THE SLOPE AND Y- INTERCEPT.
8X-3Y=9. PLEASE HELP ME. SO CONFUSED????

Answer by checkley71(8403)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
FIRST WE PUT THIS EQUATION IN THE STANDARD LINE FORM [Y=mX+b] WHERE m=SLOPE & b=Y INTERCEPT.
8X-3Y=9
-3Y=-8X+9
Y=-8X/-3+9/-3
Y=8X/3-3 THUS THIS SLOPE=8/5 & THE Y INTERCEPT=-3.
PROOF: (graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -10 to 10, 8x/3 -3).
