Question 12022: If y-intercept=5, and x-intercept=-3. What is the slope?
Thx in advance.
Answer by rapaljer(4671) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Remember the slope of a line
So the points are:
y intercept = (0,5)
x intercept = (-3,0)
Check out the graph these points on a graph. Starting on the x-intercept, you can measure the rise of 5 and the run of 3 to get up and over to the y-intercept.
