Question 1156725: Tell whether the function is linear. Then, evaluate the function when x = - 3.
a) f(x) = - 2xᵌ + 5 b) g(x) = 12 - 8x
I hope I pick the correct topic. I really don't answer this. Thank you to anyone who helps me answer the question.

Linear functions are to the first power of x
So g(x) is linear but not f(x)
f(-3)=-2(-3^3)+5=59
g(-3)=12-8(-3)=12+24=36
