NO!! You need to solve for y, NOT solve for x.



I would begin by multiplying both sides by the denominator which is 3 to clear the denominator.
Divide out the 3 on the right side:


Add + 30 to each side to solve for y.


Divide both sides by 2:



Now that it is in slope-intercept form, the slope is the coefficient of x, which is and the y-intercept is the constant, which is 15.
