Question 1045039: Describe why the constraints are a minimum or maximum.
I'm lost on breaking these down.
1X + 2Y ≥ 500 (Min)
2X + 1Y ≥ 150 (Min)
6X + 1Y ≤ 400 (Max)
10X + 1Y ≤ 300 (Max)

Look at which direction the inequality points.

Assuming X and Y are variables, the inequality 1X + 2Y >= 500 tells you that the *minimum* possible value of X + 2Y is 500.
