(2) x/y = 2 +Rem 2 = 2 + 2/y
.
subst (1) into (2)

(11-y) /y = 2 + 2/y
.
multiply thru by y

11-y = 2y +2
.
11-2=2y+y
.
9=3y
.
3=y,,,,,,,,,x=11-y=11-3=8
.
