Question 144113: I need some help with this problem please. Thanks.
(25x^3)^2/3 / (125xy^2)^1/3
Square the numerator so the NUM and DEN have the same exponent
%2825x%5E3%29%5E%282%2F3%29+%2F+%28125xy%5E2%29%5E%281%2F3%29 = %28625x%5E6%29%5E%281%2F3%29+%2F+%28125xy%5E2%29%5E%281%2F3%29
With the same exponent, put them under one radical.
%28%28625x%5E6%29+%2F+%28125xy%5E2%29%29%5E%281%2F3%29
Then reduce to %28%285x%5E5%29%2F%28y%5E2%29%29%5E%281%2F3%29
This is what I got as a solution:
16.67x^2 / 41.67xy^.66
Any help would be appreciated. thanks.
