ln(9) - ln(3^4)

ln(9) - ln(81)

ln(9/81)

ln(1/9)

ln(1)-ln(9)

0-ln(9)

-ln(9)

Answer: ln(9) - 4*ln(3) = -ln(9)

What you posted is correct.
ln9 - ln81 = ln(9/81) = ln(1/9)
